I am so thrilled and honored to have you here. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me. I am Monika Jankowski, a newborn, baby and family photographer originally from Poland living in Connecticut for more than 16 years. I'm a wife to my best friend and mom to the most incredible, sweet and loving two boys and the cutest golden doodle ever. My family means the absolute world to me.

If not behind the camera you can find me digging in the garden or baking pastries. I'm a coffee addict and have the biggest sweet tooth. I am a girl who loves sunsets, the smell of cut grass and fresh woods. I live for hot summer nights and sand between my toes. I love music and good food. Crying from Disney movies? Yup that’s me.

I developed my passion for photography after having my first baby boy 7 years ago.

There is nothing as special in life as when a new baby comes into this world. I wanted so badly to slow time as he grew. Those tiny little toes, chunky rolls, wrinkles, little nose I knew that this would be gone in the blink of an eye. Looking back on their time growing up, remembering their smiles is why I do what I do. I feel so truly blessed to be a mother and be able to do what I love on a daily basis. We need to slow down time and cherish our children, capture moments and memories that can never be recreated.

I'm blessed to photograph these tiny babies who bring so much joy to their parents and families. Being surrounded by newborn squeaks, toddler giggles and laughing families! It is truly a dream job!
